Arlington Soccer Club is dedicated to creating a diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment for all types of athletes to play soccer, develop skills, and have fun. As part of this commitment, ASC is thrilled to announce the launch of a new TOPSoccer initiative! TOPSoccer is a recreational soccer program for players with intellectual, emotional, or physical disabilities or differences.

To kickoff this new initiative, ASC is offering a FREE 4-week TOPSoccer clinic:

  • Participants: This program is for children and youth ages 5-18 who would benefit from a soccer environment adapted to players with intellectual, emotional, or physical disabilities or differences. Family/caregiver participation is welcomed but not expected.
  • Schedule: Sessions will be held at 3:30-4:30pm on an accessible field in Arlington on the following Sundays: May 1, 8, 15, and 22.
  • Registration: Registration is required, and space is limited to 20 participants to ensure a positive experience for everyone. Please be sure to select ‘TOPSoccer Spring 2022’ in the registration portal: https://secure.adminsports.net/arlingtonmasoccer.
  • Coaching: Sessions will be run by ASC Vice President, Travis Baggett. Travis holds a US Soccer ‘D’ Coaching License and is a primary care physician. Each participant will be paired with a high school-age ‘buddy’ to assist and encourage them through sessions.

ASC is approaching this initiative from a position of humility and learning. We look forward to partnering with you to improve access to soccer for everyone in our community.
