ASC Game Reschedule Procedure

Before rescheduling games, please confirm that you absolutely cannot play your scheduled game. Having less than a full roster is NOT a valid reason for postponing a game as ASC adheres to the BAYS Play the Schedule Rule. Details can be found here.

Games can be played with the minimum number of players listed below:

11v11: start with 7 continue with 7

9v9: start with 6 continue with 6

7v7: start with 5 continue with 5

HOW TO UNSCHEDULE A GAME:

If you need to unschedule a game: Please use the ASC Game Reschedule Form to input your information. You will receive instructions via email about the next steps to complete rescheduling. If this is a BAYS game, you are required to reschedule before the end of the season.

Please review acceptable reasons for rescheduling a game under Match Rule 8 here.

LATE CANCEL IMPACTS ON REFS:

As a Club, we have noticed an uptick in late game cancellations.  We are writing to ask your help in avoiding future late game cancellations by confirming games with opponents at least one week prior to game day.

A few things you may not realize about our referees:

All ASC games from grades 2+ have at least one referee assigned in advance to work each game.

Referees are often Arlington students who are experiencing their first real job through refereeing for ASC.

These children, ages 13+ have made a commitment to our Club, and schedule their own social and family weekend activities around this important job.

A late cancellation means they will almost certainly not be able to pick up another game to replace these lost wages.

Lost wages result in seeking other opportunities for employment that are deemed more reliable.
